CHIRTOCA, Alexei. Management strategies and policies in contemporary eco-economic systems = Strategii și politici de management în sistemele eco-economice contemporane. În: Strategii şi politici de management în economia contemporană [Resursă electronică]: conf. şt. intern., ediţia a 7-a, 9-10 iunie 2022. Chişinău: ASEM, 2022, pp. 313-318. The issues of environmental management have acquired the status of one of the highest priorities and important problems facing humanity. It is quite difficult to simultaneously maintain the pace of economic growth and minimize the negative consequences of anthropogenic impact on nature. In this regard, the need to find new ways and approaches for solving the environmental problems of industrial production is becoming increasingly obvious. Environmental management is considered a part of the strategic management concept of the post-industrial era and is interpreted as the safe management of modern production. It achieves the optimal balance between environmental and economic indicators. Even though the attempts to solve environmental problems in the industry have been made for more than a decade, they have not been properly reflected in economic science. There is no sufficient scientific and methodological support for this type of management. The presence of a contradiction between the need for environmental management and the lack of necessary and sufficient scientific and methodological support for it led to the writing of this article. CZU: 005.21:504.06; JEL: H1, M2, Q00, Q001.
