dc.descriptionIn this article, the author aims to research the mechanism of financing local budgets in the Republic of Moldova through the system of transfers and the formation of the budget process. Through this research, the author studied the advantages of using this mechanism to finance local budgets from the state budget and the factors underlying the determination of the volume of budget allocations. Characteristic of this inter-budgetary mechanism is the calculation of the volume of allocations for the general financing of a local budget. The budget process being the basis of the mechanism.
