dc.descriptionModern society has entered an era of globalization of trade, operations and economic processes, an era of computerization and digitalization of areas of activity, especially financial. Economic information is used today in all sectors of activity, being an indispensable element in the path of progress, for this it is necessary that it reaches unaltered to end users and in a “global format and common language”. Therefore, in order for the information presented in the financial statements of a company to be understood by different users (such as country, language), it is necessary to respect an internationally accepted framework and to be presented in a language of international circulation, thus, it was set up a financial reporting system that complies with “International Financial Reporting Standards”. The presentation of the financials using this world wide accepted format helps the company to be more reliable on the market, inspire trust to possible investors, where is the case, and why not, embracing the future by adopting everything that is new in this domain.
