dc.description	The paper “The State of Forests in Romania - The effects of mass deforestation” is the fundamental ensemble of biodiversity of the natural environment by deforestation. I have tried to highlight the most important aspects that arise when man does not respect nature, but also what are the effects of it. We also analyzed the figures that appear in the statistical yearbook to see their evolution. In the last part of the paper are highlighted the solutions that should be imposed in order to save the nature and the improvement of the state of forests. JEL CLASSIFICATION: Q23
