dc.descriptionIn this article, the authors claim to the importance of forming knowledge in the field of information security for all categories of citizens, and especially for young people. The relevance of non-formal education is substantiated, an analysis is made of the possibility of implementing such non-formal education in the Republic of Moldova on the basis of materials provided free of charge by the American project CRDF. It describes the main threats in the information space and basic methods of countering these threats. It is proposed to launch a pilot project at the Moldavian Academy of Economic Studies with the intention of further promotion among all universities, colleges in the Republic of Moldova and among schoolchildren. The task is to introduce non-formal education through an online course developed by CRDF, among students from the Republic of Moldova. УДК: 004.056:378 (478).
