dc.descriptionThe Republic of Moldova is facing a demographic drama, which is still known in the specialized literature under the names of depopulation or demographic implosion. Among the demographic problems, the most acute ones can be noticed: the decrease of the birth rate, the increase of the mortality, changes in the age structure with certain accent of aging of the population, the decrease of the life expectancy, the recording of a negative natural balance, the increase of the male mortality in the adult age groups, the emigration of the population across the state borders and the registration of a negative migratory balance.
