The Guideline of Developing Countries of this millennium requires that each economic sector play a well-defined role in planning and development policy and concentrated efforts of all economic sectors are integrated into this policy to support the development of the tourism industry. Globally, both developed and developing countries are facing more serious or evolving pollution problems. Through this paper we propose to bring into discussion the existence of global pollution phenomena, greenhouse effect, ozone layer destruction, surface water pollution, biodiversity reduction, radioactive particles, etc., which are manifested more aggressively, negatively influencing the world's population. The research methods used were mainly documentary analysis and literature research, methods that allowed us to conclude on the relationship between the phenomenon of globalization and environmental policies. The importance of the approaches in the field has imposed the limitation of our research area on ecotourism management policies. The main conclusion was that the new ecotourism management policy should combine the forms of tourism management with the environmental ones in order to lay the foundations for a sustainable development and promotion of tourism.
