Any business entity in a market economy under an unfavorable set of circumstances may find itself in a financial crisis, and often in a state of bankruptcy. The reasons for such a situation can be related both to the negative influence of the external environment on the activities of the organization and to the shortcomings in the management of its financial and economic activities. There are many scenarios for getting out of this state. One of the most urgent is the timely diagnosis of bankruptcy, which is also a preventive measure to prevent bankruptcy. JEL: H12
