Energy security, critical infrastructure and the sustainability of supplies of energy resources are the key elements in the process of modernizing the country and attracting foreign investments. The country’s dependence on external energy sources is a major constraint in ensuring a stable development and economic growth. Energy security - has o high price. However, the investments in energy security are extremely necessary and justified over time. These investments make a direct contribution to the economic growth and to the well-being of the nations. Therefore, the change of the development paradigm and economic growth from consumption to investment and innovation is imminent. JEL: E22, E23, E66, F01, F43, H12, H81.
