dc.descriptionBecause banking is currently controversial in terms of its stability and the current exchange rate fluctuations we intend in this article to analyze the performance indicators level of five commercial banks in the Republic of Moldova. From the banking system performance indicators we examined several essential indicators, in our opinion, the assessment of the financial position of the five financial institutions. Depending on the chosen indicator the position of banks changes their ranking.
