The decision to use the education services becomes a controversial topic in the Republic of Moldova, as a large majority of young people choosing the option for continuing their studies abroad. This situation does not only blame inefficient marketing strategies of higher education institutions, but rather a linear view of processes. In an economy, all processes have a more circular structure than a linear one, which means that in a dynamic, a certain decision can have considerable long-term consequences. The decision of some young people to leave the country has created mass hysteria, so that a wave of migration is virtually impossible to control. The economic impact of this phenomenon can already be seen today, when we can convince ourselves of the extent to which it has suffered the number of enrollments in higher education institutions. Without a sustainable solution, in a few years the demand on the labor market will considerably exceed the supply of labor, which is going to create an unprecedented labor shortage in the Republic of Moldova. Every economic imbalance can cause another deficiency in the system creating the so-called domino effect, in which once the first piece falls, the entire chain will collapse shortly. JEL CLASSIFICATION: M 31
