In the present paper, political socialization is studied as a factor for the formation of political culture. It is analyzed the functioning of the agents of political socialization in view of the European integration of the Republic of Moldova. The main agents of political socialization are highlighted. Also, is studied the contribution they bring to the formation of the political culture of citizens. It highlights the problems currently faced by agents of political socialization. The paper also lists the indicators of the effectiveness of political socialization. JEL CLASSIFICATION: D72
